The first meeting is the beginning of the project
Or, at least, the start of a conversation that can become something more.
The atelier welcomes ideas, commissions, or simply the curiosity of those who wish to learn about the work of the space. It understands that some projects begin with a precise brief; others, with a still-imprecise question and the desire to find its form.
The studio develops housing, equipment, and object and furniture design projects, with a comprehensive approach that ranges from urban scale to construction detail. From the city to a door handle, literally.
Each project is unique and is approached through an active dialogue with whoever brings the question, the place, and the program. It maintains that listening is an essential part of design, even when everything seems already defined.
It also receives inquiries for collaborations with other studios, academic institutions, and extension projects, convinced that architecture is, above all, a shared practice.
"Designing means questioning inhabitation and understanding creation as an integral and situated process."
Although each answer, inevitably, opens new questions.
